This is a LO to show off my Cruise sunrise photos. I loved the stained glass butterflies. And the background papers are fab. So I tried to think about the cool challenges here.
1. the color yellow - I added a stroke around the photos and think that makes them stand out from the backgrounds. I put part of the title in a yellow not too bright but different from the word sunrise.
2. the title was made from the tutorial from Christine Haskell's making your own alpha - I used Scrap Color Me 8 - I cut the outside from the yellow background and then I placed it over the photo and cut out just the insides and I think it gives it a sort of stained glass effect which is the Guild kit this month
3. Used the font King and Queen for the title because I wanted a romantic touch to the title
TFL - any cc or suggestions welcomed

Wow, Nancy, fabulous photos and gorgeous layout! Love the yellow stroke around the photos, and I LOVE the title- I thought that you bought a stained glass word alpha that I didn't see! (I was headed to the store till I read your description- now I have to find the tutorial instead!) It does look like stained glass- excellent job!

Gorgeous! I bet you had a great time on your cruise. Beautiful title and photos, and the yellow is fab. My suggestion would be to put something in the top right to create a visual triangle.

What beautiful photos! I love the way you played with the idea of the light reflecting off of the water and the reflection of light in the butterflies. Lovely!
