This is my Layout for Week 4- Storytelling journaling, using staggered alignment. Also for Birgit's CIJ Heritage challenge. The photos are of my sisters and I.

Journaling:
I always loved it when it snowed.
My sisters and I would put on
tights,
pants,
3 pairs of socks,
a sweater,
a winter coat,
boots,
a scarf,
a hat,
2 pairs of mittens
Then we'd waddle clumsily
outside to
make snowballs
sled down the hill
throw snowballs
catch snowflakes on our tongues
make snow angels
eat snowballs
When our fingers and toes
were numb
our noses and cheeks rosy
we'd trudge back to the house
shed all the layers of clothes
and drink hot cocoa
totally exhausted
completely happy
I loved
snow.

love how you embellished the snowman, and the journaling enhances the falling snow effect!

When you put it that way, snow sounds fun! lol I too have those treasured moments, nothing tastes better then hot cocoa after a good afternoon of snow fort building. Love the way you did your journalling, it brings so much to the theme of your page.

LOL - I can picture you waddling out to the snow - sounds like really great memories!!! And I love the way your journaling weaves down the page like a path!
