My final homework assignment for Intro to Digital Image- I have sooo enjoyed this class! Thanks LaDonna!
Assignment- Make a folded corner, use burn/dodge for more realistic ribbon/buckle, use a plug in filter on something in the LO, use two forms of text and make your own word art.
I made the ribbon out of two of Kryss's papers, added a slight bevel to the ribbon and a slightly bigger bevel to the outside edge pieces- all part of the Eye Candy 5: Impact plug in filter. (My other favorite plug in is Virtual Photographer, but I didn't use it this time.) I recolored the buckle to match the blue paper, and used the burn and dodge tools on the ribbon inside the buckle.
I chose the decorative font CK Windsong for the important words in the title, and the serif font CK Woodbine for the others. I filled the text with one of the papers from Utopia, and added drop shadows. The journaling is done with DSAG Simple Print, a handwriting font. Journaling reads "All dressed up in a beautiful dress, such a little lady! Definitely must be a special occasion- no dirt, skinned knees or bandaids, my usual attire!"
I was a little bit stuck on the composition of this LO until I saw the beautiful June Guild kit! Stacey's lovely Spring overlay had just the right flowers I needed- I altered it to only use the light blue flowers.
