Journaling reads: We certainly hadn’t expected 80 degree weather on our visit to Alabama in January. How glorious it was for us to relax on the front porch, listening to music, maybe a little texting to friends in San Diego, who are dealing with freezing temps. Yes – I think we chose the right time to visit. The forecast even says we might have a thunder storm while here – what a treat! Another rarity for San Diego.
