This is another page of my Uncle LJ, who passed away this week. The picture was taken on a rare visit from my Aunt and Uncle, driving up from Alabama to Connecticut. I was totally in love with how silly he was, and his magical southern accent. In this old photo, I also loved it because it is one of few that shows the old 50’s kitchen table with the ribbed metal edge and the plastic upholstered chairs with the little metal tacks around the edge.
Journaling reads: I remember how much I loved having my Uncle LJ visit when I was young. He was so much fun, and told me jokes and always made me laugh. I love how he smiles with his eyes,
