Its funny the things we remember growing up. I don't remember many of my own clothes - dresses for special occasions and a few of my favorite outfits. I do, however, remember vividly my mother's bathrobe. It was bright red, furry and oh so soft. It was fully length and went almost down to the floor. It felt so good to the touch and it suited my mother very well. I don't know how many years mom wore that bathrobe, but I don't remember any other before it or after it. I wonder what it was about it that burned it so deep into my memories. I wish I had a picture of her wearing it.
