Journaling reads: All my life, from my first recollection, I watched my parents work around the house: redecorating, remodeling, repairing. It was our way of life. We never hired anyone if we could do the work ourselves. As I grew older, I began to acquire the ability to do much of the same work myself. Now, as a single homeowner, I find myself thinking the same thing: I don't hire someone if I can do it myself. I'm so happy to have family who gave me the skills I need to be able to take care of myself and my home and who will nelp me when I need them!
