My wonderful mother-in-law asked me to do a page she could share with her life-long friend about their growing up years in Birmingham, Alabama. The pictures are all tiny and fading and don’t enlarge well, so it proved to be rather a challenge. This is one of two pages about those years. The journaling page isn’t shown because some of the people don’t wish to be identified.

This is a bit outside my comfort zone and I'm not at all sure this works. Criticism welcome.

What a great idea you had for treating photos that were such a challenge. I applaud your work.

You have met the challenge and created a wonderful memory for you MIL. The pics maybe small but you can see them clearly this way. Very clever and creative work.

Life shouldn't be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather, to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly shouting, 'Wow! What a ride! Thank You, Lord!' - Beth Moore
