Not sure exactly what assignment this would qualify for,...but I know I am using lot of blend mode techniques from Mary's great class.

This is a weird image for me -- it seems a bit happy for the quote,...but I wanted to put something up!

Ever feel like pulling your hair out because you are waiting for something? That's me right now. This image is definately brighter than I feel---but maybe it will cheer me up and make the wait more bareable!

Hope you guys like it -- ccs welcome!

Gayl, I'm dying to know if this was one photo or if you blended two together. It's such a bright, happy cheerful photo, but...it has an element of mystery because we don't know what is at the end of the path! I love that! How about this quote: “The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination.” Don Williams, Jr.

Hi Mary and All! To answer your questions about the image (best as I can remember since I flattened the original), it is one photograph,...but I duplicated it a couple times and played around a lot with the blend modes and Grants Mask Tool, so that I wound up getting a luminous looking path. I am not trying to be secretive AT ALL,...I just don't have the original anymore (that was dumb)! Sorry! But, yes, it is one photograph. I saw the scene when I was driving home today and had to stop and photograph it. I walked under the trees and it was like entering a pink path of flowers, it was quite beautiful. I may re-cycle it with a different quote--- we'll see!

Hi Gigi - I love where you are. This layout really stands out and lighting is beautiful. When I read the quote, I was thinking spring. I wouldn't change it -let it evolve and do version two.

Gayl
