Default What's the temperature in your neck of the woods?

It's 0*F in mid-Michigan (that's -17*C) and there's no wind. It's overcast and we got 4 inches of powdery snow on Saturday. It's COLD. I'm ready for spring!

It's 60 degrees, overcast and 70% chance of rain. Gloomy and everything is brown. I'm ready for Spring too!

At last, we are expecting a sun break today. It's 36º right now, but expected to get up to a balmy 47 by the time I'm on the golf course this afternoon. Yes. My DH plays golf all year long, and he and his buddy and his wife talked me into joining them. I will be wearing a glove on both hands, and probably whining all 18 holes.

I don't want to tell you! Yesterday we had a cold 50 degree high and it was wet and drizzley all day. Today this sun is back out and they are expecting it to get in the mid 60's.

Oh, sure! Must you always be so honest?! Sometimes you could say, "It's unusually cold here, Stacey!" And then LIE!

I was happy that our road finally got plowed. The snow plows usually ignore our country road and we battle ice for days after a storm. It only took about 60 hours to get a clear road!

DH says we got 3" of snow on Saturday, but I thought it was a lot less. My parents said they got about 4" or so.

On the way into work this morning, I saw -3 on the temperature display, and then -2, and 0 degF. I didn't look at it any more after that -- it was enough that is was going up and I didn't want to know where it stopped.

I used to live in Kalamazoo and I remember getting so much more snow there than here in central Michigan because of the lake effect.

The snow we got on Saturday was POWDER! When my daughter went sledding it was a big poof in her face.

We're all keeping an eye on the weather this week -- someone was telling me they heard we're supposed to get about 20 inches this week!

But the interesting thing about Michigan is that you never really know what you're going to get -- the weather patterns often change when they pass over the lakes, and a huge storm in Wisconsin is a trickle by the time it gets to the other side of the state. (Or it balloons into something really fierce.)
