I Finally Figured It Out!!!

My problems I have been having with blend modes in PSP? PSPX only supports blend modes in certain color counts - 16 million colors I think. I decreased the color count and voila! I was able to blend. Hooray!!!

And maybe it's time to either upgrade to XI or switch to PSCS2.
