If you give a mouse a cookie......

You know that children's book about giving a mouse a cookie? Well....this weekend was the furniture moving version of that in the Cozzi house. My hubby decided to move the rocking chair into the living room. I of course wasn't happy with the way it looked where he put it but I wanted to honor his desire to keep the chair in the room sooooooo....I thought if I just moved this piece of furniture over there and that piece in the other corner and if I moved that painting to this wall and those photos to that wall....well....you get the picture right? Ten hours later I had moved just about every single piece of furniture in both the living room and the dining room, along with all of our artwork, paintings and framed photos. I'm thrilled with how the rooms turned out....

BUT

NOW, I'm trying to figure out how to finagle some extra money out of our very tight budget because I'm absolutely convinced that in order to make our new furniture arrangement "perfect" we need to paint the walls, get some new area rugs, throw in a couple of new plants and maybe an indoor ficus tree and a few new throw pillows for the couch........

you know, "If you move a piece of furniture in Debb's house........."

I had a very quiet and actually boring weekend, no furniture moving, no picture changing...pretty much did nuffin!!! But glad you had a productive weekend!!!

The norm for us - boating with the kiddos and the dogs. We did get a new tube so the kids had a great time.

I never get the chance to rearange everything. Hubby doesn't let me! He always changes stuff back and telling me: I just can't get used to the new re arangement.
