Default Photo Editing with Julie Mead Challenge

In the December issue of the Artisan Notebook Julie Mead shares a fantastic tutorial on how to achieve a reflection effect:

Our challenge to you is to use this tutorial to create your own mirror reflection layout. Post your layouts in the Artisan Notebook challenge gallery and link them back to this thread. Your layout may be featured in the Artisan Notebook's Notebook Notes blog.

To make things even MORE fun we are giving away a FREE GIFT to everyone who participates in this challenge. Dee Bee Designs used the December Guild kit "Season of Delight" to create this beautiful set of Ready Made Layouts (tm).

For detailed information about Julie's tutorial be sure and check out the December issue of the Artisan Notebook (tm). If you are not a member or do not have a subscription to the magazine purchase information may be found HERE.

Julie's tutorial is wonderful! I have so much to learn, and folks who are willing to share their knowledge and help others are a blessing to me! Here's my first try at "mirror reflections":

I'm having trouble with this one. I use PSP X2 and I can't figure out the gradient step. Can someone translate PS to PSP for me???? Thanks.

I can't for the life of me figure out what I am doing wrong with Step 6 in Julie Mead's December's Mirror reflection.

This is what I am getting.

I can't seem to get a gradient to appear when I choose "white to clear". I also try "add a layer; gradient fill" but that didn't work.

when I move the upside down photo up it doesn't seem to be where it should be ?

can someone help?

thank you!!! I love this effect

I just sent out posting bonuses to everyone who posted in this thread. If I missed anyone please send me a PM.

For those that are having problems with the gradient, I'm going to play around with that today and see if I can figure out what is happening. I'll post back here ASAP.
