Default October Guild Kit-Autumn Reprieve Now Available

Autumn is a celebration of nature, its rarefied air tugs at our senses with its crescendo of golden tinged color. The October Guild kit pays homage to this season with backgrounds inspired by the light of Autumn. To put a fun twist on the kit the elements have an altered art theme that can be used in all your fall-themed layouts as well as fall-themed ATC's.

Here is a closer look at the kit:

Guild Membership also includes a subscription to the Artisan Notebook:

Mosaics are an ancient art form that provide inspiration and interest for our digital scrapbooking layouts today and are the focus of the October 2009 issue of The Artisan Notebook. You'll meet software designer Andrea Dentler who provides us with free software to turn our prized photos into beautiful mosaics and see some unique photos, projects and layouts by guest layout artists who used the software. Our spotlight designer is the wonderfully talented SherrieJD, whose designs are available at Scrap Orchard.

We've added another new monthly article, Pigment of Your Imagination, and our Color Cuties creative team provide color theory and layouts for you on the color pink. Our Design Chefs cooked up some amazing layouts using a mosaic as a key ingredient for our "Message in a Layout" challenge. You'll love the artistry of our Cream of the Crop team in our Inspiration Station article, and the unique titles and journaling in our Just Write feature. As always, we have our Hot Trend, Hybrid Corner, Lifelines heritage article by Susan Reynolds, Project 365 with Jen McDougall, Stretch a Sketch with ChrissyW, Photo Clinic with Nancy Morin, Photo Editing with Julie Mead. Jeanye Labaya continues her teaching to help Organize U and your digital files. This month's Portraits Plus offers tips for what to wear to a senior portrait shoot and a free layered template to create a unique mosaic.

FREE GIFTS include a mini kit by Dee Bee Designs and a 12x12 layered template by Stacey Jewell Stahl.

I really like all 3 lay outs, but the 1st one is my favorite. I really need to learn how to mask, and blend a photo into the paper. That's my first project after making my Christmas cards. Every year I write a poem in my cards, but this year I seem to have writers block hmm. Oh well, I will come up with something.

The kit and magazine are both great. Thanks!

Oh gosh, what a wonderful kit! I just love the colors.

Now poor me lives in Florida where I don't get that type of fall. But...don't worry, I will certainly think of some pages to do anyway!

Living in S. California I have the same challenge!! But you know what works? Taking photos in our dried-out drought-scarred hills!! Not quite as pretty as the color in fall leaves but the wheat-colored browns look great with the backgrounds.

Default I'm embarrassed to say, "I'm lost" . . .

Hi there,

I was referred to your site this morning and I immediately subscribed. However, even after reading a few of the FAQs, I can't find any link to the members area for the monthly magazine or kit downloads. Please tell me I'm not missing the totally obvious!

Thanks.
Kathy
