I am thinking about giving up the search. It is getting WAY out of control. People are getting scary. We have agreed that no one goes alone. Heck, none of us are going without our men or in a group from now on. Also, no more night time searching. I think they might be putting an end to the contest soon because people are going to get hurt.
A couple was chased by a mountain lion last night! Someone was sent to the hospital for minor injuries in a separate incident. The police are EVERYWHERE pulling people over and removing people from private properties. People are destroying property and just being plain dumb. I know that is rude to say, but honestly, just plain dumb. There are constant safety warnings on the radio. People are climbing in dumpsters and ripping open garbage bags on the side of the roads. Seriously! Insane. Did I mention I got stung on the face by a wasp while looking? I did.  It's really getting out of control.... $10,000 is a lot of money, but its not worth destroying our beautiful island and definitely not worth someone's safety...
