Default It's my 1/2 century birthday month!!!
It's my 1/2 century birthday month!!! And I wanna party!!! So here is the scoop. I will be giving away a gift certificate to different digi stores on my blog every week for the month of September!!!

And then on the 24th of September, (my actual birthday) I will be drawing a random winner to win a 6 month membership subscription to the Guild, of course since Marc and I will be partying in Las Vegas for my birthday, the drawing will be either sometime on my birthday or the next day!!!

So, to make this a bit funnier, tell me the best way you celebrated you birthday here in this thread to be entered into the drawing for the Guild Membership, thanks for celebrating with me, so I don't dwell on getting old!!!

Chris this is awesome what you are planning for your birthday month. How sweet! And to party in Vegas! WOW how fun!

My favorite birthday was a surprise my husband planned. We were on a hiking vacation (a tour group) in New Zealand, we had a stop at Mt Cook and he took me on an airplane ride that landed on the glacier. It was fun and scary and gorgeous. Then at the restaurant he had everyone in the group sing and they brought a cake and he gave me a beautiful opal pin. It was the most romantic. He planned it with the tour guide and it was a complete surprise.

Happy Birthday, Chris!! I hope you have a great time celebrating!

My favorite birthday celebration was when my DH and DDs took me camping on the beach. We cooked outside, played in the Gulf, got sand everywhere, and got rained on all night while our tent leaked. LOL. The rest of the weekend was so much fun that I didn't mind. Oh...we also found one of our favorite Mexican food restaurants that weekend. Yay!

Chris, this is awesome. I can't win, but I'll tell you 20th and 30th birthdays were awesome.

My parents gave me a surprise 20th birthday party and Michael gave me a surprise 30th birthday. I truly was surprised at both of them and I had a blast.

40, yeah, not so fun.

Birthdays are always low key in our house so no funny birthday stories. When we were little my mom let us pick dinner (I always picked rump roast in the crockpot with carrots and potatoes) then we would have a cake from the bakery in town - the best cakes! AND no dishes.
