Default I have a complaint!

DUDE! WHY! Kraft went ahead and 'improved' their Kraft Diner. New box, now with MORE CHEESE! WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT! IT was perfect as is! Now after MONTHS of not eating one of my fave comfort foods I come to find things have changed. I am so writing a letter...

lol Ok, I am done.

Oh....thank goodness.....when I saw the post title I immediately thought, "oh no, what did I mess up now!!" I SO GLAD it is Kraft and not me!! My boys love Mac n Cheese too (in fact, when Dad is out of town it becomes their staple. I love it because it only takes ten minutes to make!! )

I remember when I was first a mom and I only wanted to cook healthy. Our friends son asked his dad what the food was that I was serving. His dad told him it was macaroni and cheese. The little boy insisted it wasn't because it wasn't "orange". My friend was so embarrassed because he didn't want me to know that they had succumbed to the masses and were serving packaged food!

I eventually succumbed also. I endured the packaged mac and cheese by putting Tabasco in it.

But why oh why do they try to improve the things we love. What I find worse is when I love something and then am told that it wasn't popular so it has been discontinued.

I KNOW! It irks me when they take things away. I remember when they had the Arch Deluxe at McDonalds. It was a 'healthier' option and I loved it. They took it off and I was so upset! lol Found out they were losing millions on it. Now the Big Extra is gone. Oh and NO TOMATOES! You cannot get tomatoes at McDs around here because of some bacteria scare or something.

LOL, the tomato thing may be a good thing though ... unfortunately.

I love the Kraft macaroni & cheese, too. It was a once-a-week staple in our house until Aidan's Tourettes was diagnosed. Now, with his dietary restrictions, we can only have it when he's elsewhere, but I usually forget!
