Default Time has gotten away from me...

I logged on last night and was soooo surprised to see the December kit up. What?????? I thought. This is really sad...I have never even used the November kit nor read the November newsletter. What the heck do I do with my time? Oh yeah, I went to New York and then went camping and have a job oh yeah throw Thanksgiving in there too. But still...how can December be here????? I won't get much done in December either as hubby has surprised me with a ten day trip to Florida for out 30th anniversary. We leave next Thursday and I am already starting to panic...the packing, getting the house ready for Christmas, paying the bills, baking, cooking, cleaning, what will I wear to Florida...Oh my. Who can complain with problems like these.

My strategic game plan...
I don't need to decorate the house as much as I usually do. A tree some green and consider it done. The Dickens village will stay in the attic this year.

My kids are grown and do not need a zillion gifts at Christmas. You know one from Santa, one from me, one from dad, one from each dog...

Prepay my bills in quicken so I don't have to worry about anything being late.

People do not need all the homemade goodies this year. Gift certificates are fine.

Use a Shutterfly template for my Christmas card. eeekkkkkk.....did my card yesterday BEFORE I saw the gorgeous December kit. Oh well! I created the card in the morning and got an email from Shutterfly in the aternoon that they were in the mail. If I get labels done this weekend, the cards can be in the mail before we leave.

As far as what to wear...always an endless question for me! I think I will run out today and buy a sexy nighty...It is our 30th anniversary and keep the rest simple. I DO NOT need a bunch of new outfits for this trip. Well....just maybe I will sneak over to the outlets and see if they have any summer merchandise on sale

Now that I've rambled on and on, I just wanted to say that the December kit is fabulous! I can't wait to use it.

Wow! Would you have said all that in breathe? lol Congrats on your anniversary! Congrats on your trips!! I am very happy to know that our crazy family are not the only ones who buy people gifts from the dog. I hope you have a fabulous time! I bet your hubby would be happy if the only thing you wore was that sexy night dress!

Canay I think your game plan is spot-on! And a vacation in Florida in December...WOW...can it get much better than that? (But shhh....don't tell Bek I said so!! We have a sort of friendly rivalry about our home states!! Although given the fires and pending mudslides I think she is winning this round!!)

Anyway, I'm so happy your enjoyed the December kit and can hardly wait to see what you come up with....AFTER you get home from vacation and recover from the holidays!!
