Steph so sorry! I too hate those uninvited mice. They can squeeze through the smallest cracks. But at least you dont have squirrels. I have for the past 2 months heard them chewing and told my DH who said its just mice. I said not its not. But he refused to believe me. Finally Zachary my oldest told my DH that he saw the squirrel. Now he believes and spent this weekend in the attic filling up the holes. Duh! I hate them! Just big rats with fluffy tails. Steph at least your DH believed you.

caught three in the bathroom and one in the living room behind the couch.

ok so, as i hit the reply button I saw the fifth mouse scurry behind the enteratainment center. I screamed....and then roger got mad at me. So I INSISTED on getting more traps. I left for walmart. When I was at walmart dh called and said a trap went off and he got that one. YAY.

I'm still not convinced now I want like three of four days w/ the traps being set. And we think we might have saw another one. We have about five traps and 4 glue traps set. ICK I know. PRAY that this is over for me soon!

We have fleed to moms!
AGAIN

These mice don't come out at night. They come out in the morning-mid moring. and Late afternoon-Mid evening.

So hopefully we will get them today. It sucks b/c we are suppose to have our sunday school christmas party at our house on tuesday night. I want them all gone by then. And roger is going to be working every day till then and we still haven't gotten our christmas out. B/c of the mice.

SIGH SIGH SIGH!

My guess is one got in about two weeks ago and had babies. That is teh only explination. OR they all ran in at teh same time b/c I've heard that they run in packs.

Oh Steph, I hope you get them all today- I hate them too. I had them build a nest in the air cleaner of my car one year- and I drive it every day, not sure how they thought that was a good place for a nest!

Nancy, my parents had a squirrel hiding its nuts in their house- they couldn't figure out how it was getting in until my sister found a small hole when they were cleaning out the gutters... Glad it wasn't my house! They haven't seen any more since they blocked that hole so guess that was it.

My mom was home by herself when she thought someone was breaking into the house - she finally isolated the noise to the front bedroom and when she looked in a paw was sticking out of the A/C vent - a squirrel had gotten into the attic, then gotten into the ductwork. Needless to say, Dad had a chore plugging the holes when he got home.

Steph - at least you are trapping them out in the open and they aren't dying in the wall - there is no worse smell I swear!!!

Ugh, mice creep me out!! I remember when Sophia was tiny and I was nursing her one night and Tom says, don't move - big help - I'm like WHAT, WHAT is it. We had two cats at the time who just stood and stared at the little tiny mouse that was under my chair. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKK. I handed the baby to Tom - did I mention that he was a big help , and then the mouse took off down the hall with the cats behind it. Then, it got trapped in the closet, and I finally put a waste basket over it.

I didn't know what to do with it then. I finally got it though. Only to discover that we had a whole family. The babies are adorable, until you realize that they are in your home, everywhere. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKK. Cats had a ball, but couldn't figure out what to do with them except chase them.

Whew, finally got rid of them with TNT, the EXTERMINATORS - none of the do it yourself nonsense for me. I did take Sophia to my mom's in the interim though.
