My 3 month subscription ends this month (August will be my last one) BUT I have a birthday gift card burning a hole in my pocket (woohoo!) Should I wait to sign up for more months (at the beginning of September) OR can I go ahead and renew and the 12 months will tack onto the end of this subscription?

You can go ahead and renew honey, the additional months will be added onto your existing subscription.
