Hi Debb, I wondered where you had gone. I clicked on the FAQs but didn't see an answer, so I am still trying figure out exactly how this site works. Do you have to be a guild member to participate in the challenges, gallery, etc? and What does being a guild member entail? Those are my first 2 questions. You may have the answers posted somewhere, but I have been clicking links and haven't come across them yet. If you wouldn't mind helping me out or just pointing me in the right direction, I would appreciate it. I'm glad you are not lost after all.

There are many benefits to becoming a member of the guild, chief among them is the amazing kit our guild members will be receiving each month. You can get a sense of the quality of the design by using the Alpine Elegance kit which is our January kit and is available as a gift to everyone who registered as a guest to the site. In addition we have our Inaugural kit, Crazy Quilt Magic, which is available to the first 200 people who purchase a membership. Each month our designers are collaborating on some VERY SPECIAL kits. The March kit has already been completed and I'm just dying to tell everybody about it....but I can't spoil the surprise!! As a member you will also receive our monthly on-line magazine D-zine Inspirations. This publication will offer tutorials, insights into design by some of the industry 'leading lights' ideas to help jump-start your journaling, photography helps, hints and quick lessons.....I could go on and on, but then what would the purpose of the magazine be? Members also have access to all areas of the site and have uploading privileges to the gallery. (Currently everyone who is a registered guest can upload to the gallery but at the end of the month everyone will be able to view the gallery but only members will be able to upload to it.) Each month, in the member's only areas of the site, we will be offering guild members many, many different things to help them grow in their digital scrapping skills...tutorials, inspirational ideas, program helps and all types of challenges that focus on helping each other grow in this craft that we all enjoy so much. We will also be sponsoring semi-annual juried competitions. These competitions will be open to guild members only. These competitions will be judged by trained judges who will be following specific judging criteria and will be giving each contestant a scorecard at the end of the competition so that the competition becomes not just a contest of 'who is the best' but is also a learning tool for us all to learn how to become the best scrappers we can be. You can find much, much more information by clicking on our "About" links, but in a nutshell what the guild is all about is being a place that you can come to learn and be inspired as you pursue the craft of digital scrap-booking...and to do it in an environment filled with fun, friendship and encouragement. Blessings Debb

Debb - is there going to be February kit, or is the Alpine Elegance for both January and February since January was a half month? Of course, I'm still using the Alpine Elegance a lot - it goes so well with my December vacation photos.

Yes Maggie since we didn't go live until the middle of January the Alpine Elegance kit is for both Feb. and March. Of course everybody that has signed up so far has also received the Crazy Quilt kit. And you just never know there may be some other surprises along the way for all of our members!

I saw the classes offered for titles are all for photoshop. I use DIP. What options would I have if I decided to become a full member vs. a guest and wanted to proceed with the classes for a title?

Right now our program classes are geared toward Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro.
However we do have plans to be continually expanding our class offerings and if there is enough interest in DIP we will certainly add that to the mix. I also want to say that ALL of our design and style classes are generic in nature and can be taken utilizing ANY photo editing program. We don't want to leave anyone out of the mix, regardless of what program they use. We will keep you updated as new classes are added.

Hi Tiffany...if you are interested in becoming a designer then you might be interested in the apprenticeship classes we will be offering. Our plan is to roll out with those classes in the late Spring or early Summer. So stayed tuned.....

Giving freebies to the rest of us so that we can beg for Debb to let you become a designer doesn't hurt either.
Heeheehee!!!! j/k-sort of! I look forward to seeing your stuff someday!
