OH man I'm so so sorry! Well just remember that if you get dehydrated, it CAN affect the baby!! I had a bug when pg with my first, threw up so much and so long they admitted me and gave me 4 bags of fluid. Kept me almost 8 hours, gave me lots of that phenegrin stuff. I was in a bad way, but it was the baby they were worried about. I hope you're better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a little mad b/c my ob's nurses are off today so they transferred me to the hospital womens floor and the nurse there basically told me to tough it out and if i continue to thow up into the day to call back. If I would have got to talk to the ob's nurses they would have given me phenegrene. If this would have been before my dad left his job (he was the nursing supervisor) I would have got it this morning via dad at 7am.

Dh is home and is cleaning the bathroom now, and changed the sheets on the bed while i was taking a bath. Mom came and got selah and brought me sprite...which i haven't been able to keep down. I'm sipping on propel right now and I'm excited BC it has Vitaman B and that helps w/ nausousnes. My prenatal vitiman would propbably help too, but since they are way expensive I don't see the point of taking it till I can keep it down.

So anyway. I'm better, but not quite there yet.

I'm doing much better. Have kept stuff down since 12pm. Have eaten a few crackers, a popcicle and a few bites of an icee. I'm achey from all the throwing up. But I'm feeling better. Selah is home and asleep and Dh took tomorrow off to help me. He's so sweet!

Thanks for the prayers

Sending you big ((((((HUGS))))))))) and prayers! I was sick with one of my pregnancies - it is awful because you worry about the baby. God love you - it is tough enough being pregnant to be throwing up also! SHAME on those nurses- telling you to tough it out!!!!!!!!!!! I am a nurse also and would never say that- those old bags need to retire or take a vacation! If you lose your empathy they need to retire! Okay- off my soapbox! Hope you are feeling MUCH better sweetie!

Stephanie - I hope that you are feeling much better today. That's a horrible feeling that I imagine must only be magnified by being pregnant.

I'm glad you're feeling better but I'm really REALLY surprised they didn't have you come in. Man my OB was very adament about me getting to the hospital for fear of dehydration. I am just so happy you're feeling some better and will pray that you continue to improve QUICKLY!!! What a great DH you have too!

Probaby because I didn't talk to him or one of his main nurses that know me. She didn't even offer to tell my Dr anything. It will be mentioned at my next appt. I know one of his other nurses would have called me in something.

I am doing better today. I don't feel like I'm going to throw up anymore. I am a little nausous, but am about to eat some soup. Funny cause yesterday I thought I'd never eat again.

Thanks for your prayers and concerns!
