Default It's Saturday . . . got any plans for the weekend?

I am working today at the portrait studio. I work every Saturday, and today we are gob-smacked with appointments. It's going to be a busy day, much like it was the weeks before Christmas. I do love portrait photography!

My nieces spent the night last night, and I'll be making them breakfast as soon as they want it. I've already vetoed PICKLES as a before-breakfast treat.

My sister will be picking up her girls and my daughter and taking them to a birthday party.

Then tomorrow I sing in the early service at church. I'm not much of a morning person, so I may be doing a little Milli Vanilli.

I am hoping to scrap a couple of pages on Sunday, but I need to take some photographs of the girls today before I leave for work so I have some new pix to work with.

What are you doing this weekend?

Free day to play on the computer and work on my current knitting project...then meeting DS, DDIL, and 3 DGSs for dinner tonight. Every Sunday we meet in a home church, and that ends up being most of the day because we have a potluck after the meeting.

Since we're retired, every day is like a weekend to us. We LOVE it. We try to do our errands/shopping/golfing/etc. Monday thru Friday so as to free up space on the weekends for those who work during the week.

I'm recovering from a very nasty flu-bug. It had me flat on my back for most of the week. BUT, last night was the first night in a week that I was able to sleep through the night without coughing up my lungs...PRAISE GOD!! And this morning was the first day I've woken without a migraine. AMEN and PRAISE GOD!! I'll be working on the finishing touches of the magazine & Guild kit today (I fell way behind in that this last week) making a stew for dinner and spending time sitting around the fireplace with my family.

We had a big storm move in over night. It was supposed to be "frigid" (day-time temps in the high 40's...hey, that's "frigid" in S. Cal!! ) with lots of rain. They were saying the snow level could be as low as 1000 feet; which means we could get snow!!! Welllll....we are getting lots of rain but it is not as cold as expected and I've seen nary a flake. I think our local mountains are probably getting a ton of snow though. If it clears up tomorrow we may take a drive up there and let the boys sled.

Well, that nasty flu bug is everywhere. I have been down all week myself. Felt a little better yesterday but down again today. I haven't been this sick in years. Haven't had a chance to scrap at all. Hopefully I will be on my feet in a few days. It is cold and dreary just the way I feel. I haven't watched so many romantic comedies in my whole life.
