They don't tell you that. They send you an advanced copy once it is published. The last two times I was published in their magazine it was a long wait--three or four months out I think. I'll let you know when I find out.

I went in search of their magazines and I couldnt find ANY of them. We dont get a big selection of mags around here. Unless of course you are a tabloid freak or a 13 year old girl in love with that dude from High School Musical. lol

Congrats! I'm sure your LO rocks - will try to find that magazine.

How many of your layouts have they used?

This layout will make the fourth layout of mine that they have used. For some reason they seem to resonate with my stuff. Creating Keepsakes on the other hand NEVER selects the things I send them I have probably submitted at least twenty layouts to them. I finally gave up. That is why I don't compete in their HOF contest. I figure if they don't like a layout to publish they would certainly not choose me to be an HOF. Magazines and their editorial staffs each have their own personalities--it is all a matter of finding 'good fits.'

And thank you everyone for all of the kind words.

Oh, and Amy, I think you can get their magazine online at their site (www.somersetstudio.com) and if not there then you can always get it on Amazon. Somerset has a whole bunch of different craft magazines they have one devoted to scrapping, another for stampers, one for Art Blogs and then they also come out with specialty stuff. All of it is in the Altered Art/Quirky/Art Journal type of stuff.

I have not heard of this magazine but will certainly seek it out. Congratulations Debb - you really deserve it. As to CK - don't fret about it = most of their layouts in their magazine are not to my liking anymore - they have changed from when they first started out - I do not subscribe because of it. The Artisan Notebook is far superior in my estimation.

Congrats, Debb! I LOVE all of the Somerset publications. I take my laptop to Borders, sip coffee, and look at magazines. I took CK for one year, and soon realized it was not my taste. Somerset has good taste
