Default PSPX2 issues

I have PSPX2 and am bummed that my expensive plug-ins don't work! I haven't researched this yet - - - but have been going back and forth between PSPX and X2. What a pain.

What I cannot figure out is how to have the organizer act like the Browser. I HATE not being able to drag and drop files onto my canvas. The work around is copy and paste - and that's such a RAM hog. Plus it's more steps! I want my Browser back!!

What do you like/dislike about X2?

I haven't d/l'ed X2. I did XI, then didn't install it. Instead, I started learning PSCS2 - Stacey, I think I'm moving to the dark side - I've done very little in PSP since taking Rachel's class just so I can become more comfortable with PS. I will say there are some things that are just easier to do in PSP, including resizing elements. Do you know that you still have to use the SHIFT key to keep the aspect ratio, and you have to hit ENTER to accept the transformation - that's the one that gets me in trouble the most!!!

I got my PSP X2 in the mail yesterday! Or was it that the day before? Anyway.... I havent really played around with it much. PS was the first 'real' photo editing software I learned so PSP seems pretty easy flowing to me. You should go to their support site Stacey, and ask them about the plug-ins!

I tried downloading the trial version last week and didn't have enough space on my PC, so I couldn't compare the two....I think I'm going to stay with PSPXI until I can afford CS3 (won't be for awhile) and try learning the program. I feel there is so much more support and tutorials out there for CS3.

OH, I got PSPX for $10, but was such a PSEr that PSP was hard for me (probably because it is actually simpler...lol). But I have PSCS2 now, and if I take the design class starting next fall (I am biting off a HUGE chunk just admitting I am gonna do it!), they require the latest PS CS Suite - so I will get a student discount!!! WooHoo!!!
Sorry, that had nothing to do with your question, Stacey.
I have seen some threads started about troubles in PSPX2, but I haven't read them ... email support. They should get you squared away!

I haven't tried it out myself yet, maybe you'll find some helpful hints here:

I have found her tips and tricks pages quite useful in previous upgrades and maybe there's something about the browser/organizer too

In my PSP XI I had to add folders to my Organizer before I could use it as a browser. When you open the Organizer there is an option on the left-hand side to Add More Folders. Once I did that I was good to go.
No idea on the plug-ins. Mine work in PSP XI.
