Default Hello

Hello all, please be kind to me!! This is very new to me and I am not really sure what I am doing. I live in eastern Australia in a lovely seaside town with my husband and two of four children. I have only discovered digital scrapping in the past three months but have been an avid scrapbooker for about five years. I am having a great time scrapping my delightful granddaughter Indy. I need lots of hints and help, just discovering what you can do with all the beautiful things. Thanks and happy holidays to all.

Welcome Lisa! I'm so glad you found us! I'm sure you will enjoy the transition from paper to digital-it is just a matter of learning your program! I was a paper scrapper for years before I went digital and while I have been known to nostalgically finger some beautiful background papers I can't ever imagine going back. The versatility of digital has me forever hooked!

welcome Lisa, you'll find that a lot of us went from paper scrapping to digital. It's such fun to find out what all these buttons on your program are for. Just don't be afraid to play with them all and experiment.Which program are you using?
I will confess that once I started digiscrapping my craftvan with tons of toys and paper feels awfully neglected.
look forward to see your layouts about Australia - I wanna go back there when the ship with money comes in ,( if ever)

Hi Lisa! I bet you'll be totally addicted to digi scrapping in no time at all! That's what happened to me. I highly recommend the Artisan Notebook ... it is loaded with great information each month and I can honestly say that I have learned a bunch from reading it. Everyone is so helpful, so if you hit a snag or have a question ... just post it. Someone will help you out. Good luck and have fun!

Welcome, Lisa! Just remember "Ctrl+Z" on a PC. That will backup a step if you decide that you don't like what you just did. It's one of the best things about going digital.

Hi Lisa, I too am from Eastern Australia (gympie in fact) and have been doing Digital for 2 years now and though family members ask if I can combine both (which I've never done the 'normal' scrapbooking) Im too hooked on what you can do on the computer. You will love it Im sure and like everything else theres heaps to do.
