It's still faster for me to copy and paste because the browser brings everything to a grinding halt for me - especially when I'm scrapping at 300 ppi.

What I do is get all my alpha components on the page, then go back and place them. I tend to do that anyway with all my elements in PSP - just get them on the page, then place them.
