Oh, my stars!! When we were in married housing we had the slowest high-speed internet that Charter sold. I downloaded stuff at about 25-40 kbps and uploaded at 9-15 kbps. Just now I downloaded the June "Artisan Notebook" and I saw I was at 704 kbps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11 SEVEN HUNDRED FOUR!!!!! It took me 4 seconds to download it!! WOO HOOOOOOO!!!
Now, I just need a bigger hard drive to store all of the goodies that I see in Shoppe!!! :)

Normally my speed is pretty good but today I keep losing connection. They tore the house across the street down and I think it may have affected my line. But no matter what, it is MUCH MUCH better then the dial up I had when I first started scrapping. lol

Alas, my camera is dying a slow death, I'm afraid, and layouts from me will be sporadic. Although I did get some GREAT shots of my niece and nephew while I was in Michigan. Hmmmmm . . . that reminds me I should GET SCRAPPING!!! he he

Well amy... I still have that sloooooow dial-up!! i think my current speed is around 37kbps!! As compared to work which is around 900 - it is really hard whn you are tyring to look at everyone's LOs... Broadband will be my next investment....and a new camera....and a wacom....and - OMG I think I could go on forever - lol!!

He he! My friend Maggie was here for the weekend and we had a chat about the fact that I don't *need* anything but my Want List is like a child's Christmas list after perusing the Sears Catalog.
I want a new PC, a new camera and all of the goodies that go with it, an under-the-counter CD player (yes, my wants go throughout the house), an under-the counter can opener (long story), a laser level (although this might be a need with all of the stuff that is still not hung on the walls in our new home!), and so on and so on. :)
