I'm Debb....married for 22 years to the same wonderful man ;) We have three boys (16, 12 & 9) and a boatload of nieces and nephews. (10 altogether-3 girls, 7 boys...yep I'm surrounded by men and YEP my three nieces are completely dotted on!)
I was a paper-scrapper for almost ten years before I switched to digital three years ago. I've got a background in graphic design and I love taking photos of anything and everything!
And finally, my digital friendships are as real and precious to me as my 'real-life' friends. The sense of community we have established here is a real treasure!! For those just visiting we would love to make your acquaintance...for those that have been here a while, thank you for making this such a special place!

Hi! I'm LaDonna (aka vanillalatte)! I've been married to my DH for almost 12 years and we have two fantastic daugthers. Paige is 11 and Marissa is 7, but both think they are going on 19! We also have a fur-baby (dog), Sasha.
I've been digi-scrapping for a year and a half, but have been into digital photography since I got my first digi-camera in 1998.
I shake my head in disbelief every single day at how lucky I am to be a part of such a wonderful community! Everyone here is so helpful and supportive! We're glad you've joined us!

Hi, I'm Tammy. This site is so amazing and you girls are wonderful artists!
I have been married to my wonderful husband for nearly 14 years. I have a beautiful 3 year old daughter and I an aging dog who is also nearly 14 years old. I started paper scrapping about 2 1/2 years ago and digi-scrapping almost a year ago...I'm a computer gal so I don't know how or why I resisted digi-scrapping for so long. I'm now addicted. I love taking classes and am looking forward to the montly mini-classes as well as some of the regular classes!
Funny that one of this month's suggestions was to describe yourself as a season--you might be able to guess I would be summer:)

Hi, I'm Sandy. I'm married to my DH and we have 7 children between us aged 26 - 43. We also have 16 grandchildren (lots-s-s of pictures, just not all digital). I worked as a Manger of IT for an oil & gas company and retired in 2002. My GD, Faith, lived with us for the first 6 years of her life and when she moved with her Mom far away I started a digital scrapbook as part of the grieving process. I used Picture It! Publishing and printed everything at home. This was very simple layouts but I was able to journal a lot. She was so important to us and I wanted her to know of the things we did and how we felt. I didn't want her to forget us. I completed her 250 pg book and loved the sense of satisfaction and the process of remembering. During this project I had purchased Photoshop Elements 4 but it was so confusing to me that I kept putting it away. Then this past January I decided that it was time to get serious before I started projects for the other kids, etc. I have been on the Internet reading websites and buying supplies, kits, books, classes, etc. I have learned a lot of the basics but I have become aware of how much more there is to learn. I found the Guild in May and loved the Guild Kit so I had to join to get it. :) Now I'm taking the mini class on Scrapping the Seasons of Your Life. I love the professional way the class is presented and I love the way that comments mean something. I think that I am in the right place at the right time in my journey. Thanks for letting me hangout. BTW, my avatar is a picture that Faith drew of me and her.

Oh Sandy how sweet. I love your avatar! Welcome to the Guild.
Guess I should introduce myself. My name is Amy, I am mother to the cutest kid ever, Connor. I am engaged to a wonderful man named Sean, together for four years in August. I just started digiscrapping last March but FELL HARD for it. :D And I am SO SO SO SO SO happy to be part of this family.

I am new here. I have been buying digital things for a long time, but I have done more collecting than actual scrapbooking. I am hoping to change that.

Welcome Jan!!! I hope you enjoy this site and the wonderful designers here. There are several challenges to get you going on scrapping including sketch challenges, template challenges and scraplift challenges. And the classes are wonderful.
Look into Debb's Introduction to Layout Design and Christine Haskell's Realistic Paper Style Layouts for great information, techniques and tips for making traditional layouts. And then look at Wendy's Freestyle Layouts.

Hi, I'm Carolyn. I treated myself to membership as my Birthday present to myself. I am a mother to 2 wonderful girls (14 and 12) and 2 dogs. I've been digiscrapping for about a year and was attracted to the Guild with the emphasis on learning. I have just read through the mini class notes and monthly magazine and they are just wonderful. I really love overlays but to get started is difficult. I love where it explains what someone actually did to get certain effects in "actual layouts". Instead of looking at a layout and thinking I could never do that I am now thinking just let me try that for myself. Thanks!

Welcome aboard Carolyn! I too love this site for the very reasons you have just noted. The other benefit is the people on here, very supportive, understanding and friendly....
