Oh gosh everyone....thank you SO much for the birthday wishes!!
Debb, you're so right - having Bob home is the best present ever!! But finally being able to be an active participant in the guild is a close second!

I'm sorry my thanks are a bit tardy....but I've been sick.
Turns out I was quite sick. It all started May 5 while still up at the hospital with a cold, then I got terribly sick with a sinus infection May 9 just two days after we got home. But no job and no medical insurance meant I had to tough it out. And...I had to keep on taking care of Bob. I was dragging with exhaustion. Then on Saturday before my birthday I woke up with a horrible infection in both my eyes. Monday morning (my birthday) I decided I HAD to go to the doctor no matter what. Thankfully the insurance situation was resolved and I was finally added to Bob's insurance. Great birthday present!!!
Our doctor said I was really sick...and still running a fever. It's now 5 days later and I'm finally feeling a little better and my eyes are almost clear.

I know that was a long story...but it's the background to this story....
When I was so sick right around my birthday I didn't feel well enough to do anything around the house (other than take care of Bob and fix meals for the three of us). Posting messages or leaving comments in the gallery seemed overwhelming. But I WAS able to put together a couple of layouts. Imagine that?!?!
But the funny thing is....late in the evening of my birthday I posted a layout about being sick and not getting housework done. I know a few of you saw it and left comments.
Then I fell into bed.
The next morning I looked at the gallery and choked on my coffee. What was I thinking?? That layout looked like something I might have put together a couple of years ago!!!!
Embarrassing....ughhh.
I guess I have to blame it on being sick.
(end of story is that I re-did the layout...it's still not great, but at least not as embarrassing.)

Anyway....being so sick has kept me MIA from commenting or posting very much which I hope to remedy soon.
In the meantime...thank you all for the wonderful love and birthday wishes!!
