Meeting with our own amyeileen

I was so privileged on Tuesday (May 15, 2007) to finally meet amyeileen, :D Sean & Connor in person!! We only live 3 hours apart but have not been able to arrange a meeting until this week. Here is one picture, her fiance Sean is a photographer as well as Amy & he took this photo:

Oh Nancy, what a thrill for you both! I hope you gave each other extra hugs for the rest of us! Sometimes I try to explain to my 'real-world' friends the nature of my cyber friendships. They just don't get it...but we do! The friendships are no less real or meaningful simply because they started on line. And because we are sharing our stories through our scrapbook layouts I think sometimes they have a very special quality to them that is unique. Getting to meet in person just cements friendships that have already been formed.

I'm very happy (and just a wee bit envious!) for both of you.

I agree, it is so nice to be able to meet our cyber friends! Although I know that most of you even though I don't see you this side of heaven, it won't be long before we are rejoicing together at the feet of the Father! :)

Wouldn't it be awesome if we could organize some kind of meeting for all of us?! We're all so spread out, it would be difficult both time and cost wise, but we can always dream. Right? :) :) :)

Oh we had so much fun. It would be absolutely fabulous to have a DSAG meet sometime! But again, that is just a dream. Nancy and I had such a wonderful time together and I look forward to seeing her again.

I have LOTs of photos, and I will be scrapping some tonight!!!

theres nothing better than meeting those that share the same passions. Its nice to see the eyes light up rather than glace over when you start talking about brushes or overlays!! LOL..
I was very fortunate to attend a Laptop Crop in Auckland and meet up with 25 other ladies you felt like I do about digi scrapping....
