Power point and animated gif file

Okay my computer geeky friends, I need some help (not scrapbook related)....I do the New Hire Orientation at work and decided to put some original animation into my presentation....I went ahead and created it in PSP, then went on to the animation shop 3....everything is working fine the animation looks great, but I can't get it to work in Power point. It just copies and inserts the first frame (no animation).

Do I need to save it in a different formate...looked at all the help stuff out there for power point...no help....

Are you saving it in a .gif format? I haven't tried saving animated files to PowerPoint, but I have used PowerPoint animation for slide changes.

Maggie, thanks for answering, I'm such a dufus....I did save it as a gif and inserted it into powerpoint...the reason it wasn't playing was I was just on the slide....I had to do the slideshow in order for it to work....live and learn...
