Hi, all! Someone recommended this site as a good place to find inspiration and share layouts!:) My name is Carrie and I'm originally from central PA. I've been living in Jerusalem and the West Bank for the last nearly 7 years! I've been scrapbooking off and on since 2003, but started digitally last May and haven't looked back!

I have a wonderful husband and 4 kids who keep me busy! I teach English and have enjoyed sharing scrapbooking with the Palestinian ladies. I also do relief and development work and work with local churches. We all speak and study Arabic. My kids are, of course, much better than Scot and me!

In any event, I'm waving from the Holy Land! I hope to get to know you all better and enjoy your inspiration!

Hi Carrie, welcome, welcome!! Wow, you have an interesting story. How did you end up in the Holy Land? My husband and I dream of being able to visit that whole area someday.

Hi Carrie, welcome, welcome!! Wow, you have an interesting story. How did you end up in the Holy Land? My husband and I dream of being able to visit that whole area someday.

We are here working with a local church. We're part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination in the US, and the Palestinian Alliance Church requested us to come. Scot is a pastor and theology teacher, so we've been doing leadership development in the church and helping them with their outreach and community events, too. We recently relocated to teh West Bank from Jerusalem because our work brings us here more often than not.

It's definitely an interesting place to live and work! Never a dull moment. Now we manage checkposts, closures, military stops, etc. All to get our kids to school!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I hope to have time soon to check out the gallery more and start sharing some of my creations!:D

Our church supports a missionary family that is centered out of Jerusalem. God bless you for the work you are doing; it is certainly a challenging area to be doing ministry in these days. I will add you and your family to my missionary family prayer list. I look forward to seeing your work in the gallery (and, as much as possible hearing how God is working in and through your ministry! ;):))

Adding my welcome to the others. This is an awesome place to learn, share and the kits and monthly magazine are top notch in mho.

What an awesome opportunity to work in the Holy Land. It has been a dream of mine to at least visit one day.

Please share some of your pages.

I will be praying for you as the Lord leads.

Welcome Carrie! I read your posts with a peaked interest because I just returned from two fantastic weeks in the Holy Land and Jordan. It was a life-changing experience. I've been scrapping like crazy and am only on Day 3 of the trip! Now I know someone to contact for a photo shot I missed in Jerusalem! Enjoy your stay here. There are nothing but wonderful, kind, sweet and talented ladies here!
