The September issue of the Artisan Notebook focuses in on fashion, and all things "homes & gardens." The September Guild kit was inspired by the Romance of the Great American West, where the fashion of choice is denim and homes & gardens are a celebration of the great outdoors; expansive skies, endless prairies and wildflowers that cloak their strength with a veil of fragility. The kit includes 10 earth-toned textured backgrounds in both card-stock and tapestry versions. The element set includes more than 60 coordinating elements, 3 sets of layered, blocked templates, a rugged, Western-style alpha softened with sweet polka dots and four Ready-made (tm) layouts.

We had so much fun putting this issue together that we didn’t stop with ONE theme – we have three: Home, garden and fashion!
Have fun completing Julie Mead’s High Fashion Tutorial and Sheri Malcolm’s tutorial of a high-fashion style layout. Meet Ruth Jackson and her two daughters as they journeyed on their own “Eat, Pray and Love” trip to the Mediterranean.
Enjoy the fun challenges and see each of our creative team member’s take on each of them: journaling, title, song lyric, color, scraplift and Recipe for Design. As always we have our Project 365, Photo Clinic and Portraits Plus articles to stretch your photography skills. Debb Cozzi shares a tutorial on how to use Adobe Camera Raw to edit your photos. You’ll love the template that Cheryl Ashcraft provides our readers and see her creative team use it in a variety of ways. Sarah Barber shows off her amazing painting skills in her art journaling article.
Meet Spotlight Designer Valorie Wibbens and get to know her and her creative team.
Free Gifts this month include Cheryl's template, a Ready Made Album and a fun "bits and pieces" element set by Dee Bee Designs. Exclusive discount coupons are also available from Cheryl Ashcraft, Sarah Barber, Valorie Wibbens and Creations by Tinamarie.
