Update on DD

Well, my sweet new grandson Andrew has arrived. The Dr.'s decided it was best to bring him into the world rather than risk him or his mommy getting very sick. He weighs 4 lbs. and I got a chance to talk to him and touch him and tell him how much I love him. He is in an incubator and we are praying that he develops with no problems. My DD is doing well, she's being monitored for her BP , hoping it stays normal so she is in ICU. I am exhausted...and still more to come. I know the good Lord has been with us thus far and he will continue to be with us to the end. Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes...you're all awesome...(((((hugs and Blessings)))))

Congrats on your new grandson! I'll be praying they both do well and he gets out of the incubator quickly.

I have a cousin who was born early and weighed around the same. He grew up healthy and is now in college, so I'm hoping your grandson will be fine just like him!

my eldest is an Andrew as well and he had a difficult start in life but is now a strapping lad of 28 and nearly 2 meters tall. :)
