Oh my little girl!!

Well today while the kids were playing outside, I noticed Olivia was missing. Not good. I went in and found her at my sink, washing the dishes. GASP. The mess...the water everywhere...the look on her face...

I could have been upset over her mess, but that look...she was helping me, mommy's little helper. She was so proud. And so was I!! Oh yeah I snapped a few pictures :)

So I helped her finish up the little task, cleaned up the water and all that. And I was so happy. I am so blessed! Poooor Olivia, she just sealed her fate. She has proven she is old enough to wash dishes :) ROFL!!

What a great day today! :) Page is coming of course, but I just had to share :)

Mom said she couldn't believe that as much as we hated doing dishes, that we loved to "help" when we were little. I don't remember "wanting" to help, but I do remember sitting or kneeling on Daddy's drafting stool so that I could reach the sink.

Ahhh yes, if only they held on to that enhusiasm and pride in helping Mommy ;) And she did it without "being told"! Way to go Olivia!! And you better scrap that page fast because next thing you'll know you have the "why do *I* always have to do EVERYTHING" response when you ask her to help ! lol Well, not for a little while yet ;)
