I was down 1.2 pounds for a total of 26.2 pounds this year. That is, the middle number when I got on the scale a bunch of times. There are days when it hits the same number everytime, and days where it's all over the place. Mark must have kicked the scale slightly.

I have got to get back to really bahaving myself on the weekends. This weekend was too much junk again.

*hangs head in shame*

I was bad. I mean, I was bad. I hurt myself this week and wasnt able to do any exercise. SO! Apparently in the Book of Amy, that means I am allowed to have a free for all. I am paying for it, no worries. ;) I, thankfully, am only up .5 pound. *whew*

I have given myself a lecture, promised to do better, and am moving on. I find that is the best thing, if you fall off of the wagon, climb back on, admit you fell off and move forward.

Amy - you and I both need to realize food isn't the answer! And I let myself be knocked off the wagon. I could have easily said no, I was planning on being good.

in the gym again later on and will update weight then. Last time I weighed in at 130.5 lbs and have since increased my cardio workout and changed my diet a little more.

Weight check later.

I exercised yesterday for the first time in a million years!!! I was ambitious and selected a 30 min workout, I could only make it through 15. Plus, I cut myself! I was working out barefoot on our carpet, and apparently my dry dead skin on my soles snagged and I got a teeny tiny cut but it bled!

I only have one exercise nursing bra though, so I washed it this morning and have to wait for it to dry before working out again.

I should weigh in, I did this morning but I forgot what I weighed in at already. :P

Good for you!!! :D That so great to hear Ina!!

I have done that as well. I have horribly dry skin living up here in the cold.

we are all a bit challenged this week.

Keep the faith - this too shall pass.

I wanted to do water aerobics last night but had to work instead and today I would love to go to the gym but Mr. Wonderful will have the car when I am able to go and it will not be until 9.30 tonight that he is back. So today will be a very low calorie day in terms of carbs! (Personal note - wish we could afford two cars!)

can you get out and walk, Annette? That would get you some exercise in.

OR! You could even go on YouTube and do some exercise videos! My friend told me the other day that YouTube is not the answer to all of life's problems, but I beg the differ! ;) Seriously though, you should try it!

I will do a blog post on things you can do at home for exercise! I know I have been slacking on the blog. I am struggling because I am trying to leave myself out of it but I am not good at that. lol

9.5 lbs since end January! Wish it was a bit more but keeping on with it.

Annette - that's a good steady loss. Look at it this way - you have lost about 7-8% of your body weight since the first of the year.

On a percentage basis, that's a good safe loss. You probably didn't gain it overnight, so losing it slowly gives your body time to adjust.

<<< does not like crash diets - isn't good for the body, you don't learn good eating habits, and the body can't acclimate easily to the weight loss.

I really do need to get rid of another 20 lbs or so and will continue to do my best to do so. It is very very hard changing one's eating habits though and particularly giving up coke!!!

I plan to make a report on Monday, good or bad. We'll see...

After getting frustrated over my fluctuating weight every day, I decided I should just weigh once a week. This is my first week without weighing every day. I haven't been eating perfectly but I did get more exercise this week so I'm hopeful.

doing pretty much the same thing.

I will be in the gym tomorrow evening doing treadmill and maybe elliptical trainer if I can find someone to show me how to use it. I did add a second water aerobics class this week so hopefully that will have some affect too. Still watching what and how much I eat but I did succumb to a can of coke yesterday.

Keep the faith everyone.
