Blessed Easter everyone! :)

We're having some friends over who are also far away from family. We love to spoil their little boys...to the point where just before we left for Jamaica (their father went too), he called and said that he was coming home for lunch and they should meet him at home. Maggie asked the boys if they wanted to go home and see Daddy. The boys said no. *lol* Though they DID miss him while he was gone. We have so much fun stuff planned for them today!

Actually, I'm having a quiet Easter at home today (my choice - I was invited to a friend's house for dinner with all my friends). Audrey left about 11 this morning, and boy, it's quiet without her around. I'm missing her already. But I have plenty of photos of our week together ("Maggie - you always have your camera out!!!"), so you will be seeing plenty of layouts to come!

We took her to my Mom's church yesterday morning for a pancake breakfast, photos with the Easter bunny and an Easter Egg hunt. My BIL is not a believer, so her exposure to organized religion is minimal. It's a little difficult explaining to a 7 year old the significance of Easter, but she had the stone and the cave part down pat.

We ate with my parents and brothers, and are all at home, the boys have been playing with all the fun stuff the easter buny brought today so they are playing nicely!
my aunt and uncle will be by later ! I can't wait ;)

we have worked all easter but we are going camping for 4 days starting wednesday so really looking forward to that :D

We went away for a few days to a lovely WINE region in NZ so nursing a few hangovers with just hanging around the house, first year we havnt brought eggs though!! its no fun without little ones to share the joy with!!...bring on those grandbabies I say and soon SON!!

Easter was going to be a quiet one, but we ended up having 3 families from church over and it became a madhouse! WOW...so one day late I know, but then its ALWAYS a great day to celebrate Jesus' ressurection! HAPPY EASTER!
