Heading Home

I'm more than a bit sad that our vacation has come to an end! I'll be unplugging the computer later this evening and we will be heading back to San Diego first thing in the morning. It is a 10-hour drive from Tahoe to San Diego if we don't make any stops (which we always do!) So, I will be out of touch until sometime Tuesday, mid-morning.

I know I have a lot of catching up to do as soon as I get home--need to update the Gigi blog and the Notebook blog and start working on the August kit and August articles...ahhhhh.....saying that makes it seem like summer is almost over.

We have had a fantastic time here at the lake. I love it up here so much and it is always so hard to leave. I think when I get home tomorrow night I'm going to have to have myself a good cry to get it all out of my system. It probably isn't a good thing to care about a place so much; especially when you can't live there full-time. Ah-well, I know I should be counting my blessings; I'm a lucky girl!

I can certainly understand how you feel Debb, but you are right you are truly blessed. I hope you have a safe trip home and don't cry sweetie, you'll be going back again...it's something to look forward to, we all need that..!!!;)
I'm still trying to catch up, it hasn't been as easy as I thought..lol..

It is hard when a special time ends but thankfully memories never end.

It's always hard to have vacation time end, especially when it's in such a beautiful place.....on the other hand, for me anyway....it's always good to be back home and get back into the swing of things.
