I hope you don't mind that I share this information here. I have often supported missionaries and Christian organizations in China and have been heart-sick over the devastation I have seen coming from the recent earthquake. If you have been moved to want to help there is an organization that can provide immediate relief. I share it with you here:

Caring for China (http://www.caringforchina.org/resources/donation.htm) is a Christian organization that runs orphanages and clinics in the region devastated by the quake. CFC has established an earthquake relief fund which you can be assured will be managed efficiently and with immediate impact for the relief of the victims. CFC has been in the area for a quarter century, and its leadership and staff is first rate. You can donate online here (http://www.caringforchina.org/resources/donation.htm), or you can send a check to:

Debb - at this point I would much rather donate to assist the Chinese victims rather than the Myanmar victims, because I'm pretty sure the Chinese would be more likely to actually receive the aid. And that's sad, because I know the Myanmar victims are probably just as bad off and needy of assistance, but their own government make it next to impossible.

Thanks for the information.
