I think I remember what it was like to be 30!!! Actually I remember my 30th birthday and it ended up being really sucky, but in a weird sort of way. I was hosting my own party, but had softball practice in the afternoon. I ended up breaking a little finger in softball practice when someone took my feet out from under me. I spent a couple of hours in the ER getting checked out and splinted - then still had to go home and finish gett ready for the party.

That night we had a fire at the plant - I was on the plant fire crew and got paged out at 3 in the morning. The next night - the same thing (we never had two fires in a month, much less back to back except for this weekend. This was on a Monday morning, so I just stayed at work and went home early to take a nap - and I believe that was my actual birthday... having to take a nap on my birthday - I really felt old!!!
