I bought a new camera today. I've been so patient and saved for so long - my former camera has been dying a slow death and has been instrumental in me barely scrapping this summer and fall - I've not taken many photos!

I got the Olympus E500 with dual lenses. I can't wait to take some beautiful shots on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the few days after Christmas when my mom and dad are her for a visit.

WOO HOO!! Happy girl here!

Yes, it is a DSLR! And I was so happy to get two lenses with it! Can't wait to play with it today now that the rechargeable battery is all juiced up!

Enjoy, Stacey!!! My first SLR was an Olympus and always thought it was the best of my film cameras - I really wished that Olympus had a DSLR when I got mine because I so thoroughly enjoyed my Olympus P&S.

This Canon girl will take on you Olympus girls!!! :D :D :D Like I said earlier, if Olympus had a DSLR when I bought mine 3 years ago, then I would probably have bought it.
