Alright, I just updated my IE to 7. Now I get this annoying yellow bar asking if me I want to allow scripted windows! How do I get rid of this?? I have to click to add an imagine twice every time. Such a waste of perfectly good scrapping time! ;)

I do not want to upgrade to either one!!! My next laptop may be a Mac and I've always been a PC girl.

It's part of the reason why I switched to firefox. And the even more annoying thing is that IE is much less secure than other browsers anyway. It's been so much nicer with Firefox :)

Oh I agree...Christopher (my guardian techie angel)...gave me a long talk about why I needed to use Firefox instead of IE - lots of security reasons. So I've been using it for about a year, with no problems!

Ditto, ditto to Firefox comments! Far superior and safer than IE. Off topic, but I just glanced up and saw the morning sky. Don't you love the early morning colors in our beautiful world?

Have a good day, everyone!

Never used firefox, but my desktop computer is a PC and it has the stupid warning thing about scripted window, MAKES ME NUTS, and so I only use my laptop which is a MAC, won't never go back to a window PC after having a mac the last three years. Once the desktop goes its and iMac.:p

On a side note, I do have downloading issues once in a while.......

Amy, you need to change your security pop up settings to remove that yellow bar, but you open yourself up to some risks when you do that.

After reading this thread, I have decided that it's Firefox for me. :) I have found IE7 to be a little too buggy for my tastes.

I"m thinkiing I'm going to have to look at Firefox. I know a lot of my friends have it - and I also think Mark may have it on the desktop - he accidentally downloaded IE7 - big mistake, because you can't uninstall it!

The other night I couldn't upload photos, and switched to Firefox. That solved my problem, but this is another one that keeps cropping up - if I try and click a link from email messages to the Gallery I get a 404 error. When I come to the site, I have to try and go around things because even after I log in sometimes I get error messages trying to view the Gallery. Has anyone else run across this? I'm wondering if there's a setting I can change that will prevent this from happening, but I'm clueless.

Sorry - haven't had that one happen to me... and I use AOL for e-mail which has to be the worst with links (but hey, I've had the account for 11 years)
