Prayer for Mary Ann McMillin

Please include Mary Ann (MA#3) in your prayers. Mary Ann is hospitalized with systemic shock. She is in a medically induced coma, for her comfort. She is on a respirator. She is listed as serious in ICU. I will update this thread when I next talk to Mary Ann's husband, Larry.

Arlene, I have often thought of and missed very much MA#3. I am so very, very sorry to about this. When you speak with Larry will you please let him know that Mary Ann has touched many people with her kindness, encouragement and talent. I will be praying faithfully for her.

I finally got hold of Larry last night. Mary Ann is stable, which in this case is good, b/c she could have left us rapidly. I was so shook up the other night that I got her diagnosis wrong. She doesn' have systemic shock, it's sepsis shock. She's still in her induced coma. She is on dialysis, had exploratory surgery on her arm where they thought the infection may have come from, but the specialists are baffled. They've been over her with a fine-toothed comb.

More when I hear.

Dear Friends,

Mary Ann is going to be okay. She passed the crisis. They are weaning her off of the medicines and the respirator. She was taken off the sleep-induced medicine, but she still under. She is responding to her family with nods.

I know Mary Ann and her family appreciate your support and prayers.
