I have had several requests for CC on layouts that were submitted to our recent Creative Team call. It has got me to thinking about something. I want to find out if there is an interest in an ongoing forum for those that want to perfect their layouts to a standard that would help them make a CT either here at the Guild or for other designers.
My thought is that we can issue specific challenges along the way and give critical analysis of the layouts and things that could be done to bring those layouts to the highest level. It might also be used for those that would attempt to submit their work for publication or some of the magazine competitions like Memory Maker's Masters, etc.
So....is there any interest?
If so, I'll set up a forum and we can get started. Share your thoughts here.

I like this idea very much Debb!!!
I think it fits in wonderfully with the guild vision to be a place of ecouragement and learning.
Often I feel hesitant to give CC in the regular gallery. I see so much talent there that it's easy to offer praise and encouragement with no problem!. Yet occasionally there are times when I'd like to suggest a change or two to an otherwise stunning layout. And I would welcome the same input on my work...it we have an environment such as you're suggesting where everyone would fee at ease doing so.
What a wonderful resource this would also be for those thinking about submitting their work! I know that some of us do this sort of thing on Hello, but to have it all posted here in a forum would benefit everyone...both the person receiving the comments and those who are absorbing and learning from just reading what's posted!

Is Debb a winner, or what??????????
The special forum idea is perfect. Everyone that posts WANTS CC, so it frees everyone to give an opinion, however subjective it might be! We always have to remember that "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder," but we can learn things that make us more beautiful, inside and out. Wrinkles????? Hmmmmm....guess that won't be considered.
BTW, did you know that you age like your father's mother? My grandmother was a bag of wrinkles! GREAT:confused::confused::confused:

Ah, my father's mother was very big, almost huge, and I'm starting to spread that way too, guess I should have joined the biggest loser too, one problem, not much dedication to proper diet and exercise,
