Ok photoshop/elements users...
I want to use some ric rac on my tumbler template. The template is curved. Anyone know how to 'curve' the ribbon? I know how to make a circle, but how do i make a curve or an arc or wave with the ribbon? Is there a way?

Good question Steph....
I shouldv'e explained that in the challenge.
Not sure about PSE, but in CS2 I went to Edit>Transform>Perspective...then I pulled the corner edges in to match the line of the template. And fiddled a bit.
That's how I got the trim to curve along the templates line in this...

Hope that helps! They're always several ways to accomplish the same thing in PS, so maybe someone else has an explanation too. :)

You can also curve using the Transform, Perspective tool in PS7 so I should think PSE will do it also.

Hey steph, Bek had some instructions on how to do this in her templates for the Starbucks mugs....

And for PSP, you can use the Perspective setting on the Pick Tool - you can also use a really large warp brush and just "nudge" it a little - that's how I made the ribbon swag on my 12 Days of Oh Christmas Tree layout.
Steph, did you figure it out>

You would probably need to play with the perspective...I did cover that in the instructions with the starbuck's tempalte. It is a MUST when working with curves, I hope everyone is testing that out...Thanks for the question...looking forward to reading more responses...

In CS3 you can also do it using warp, although I am not the best one to give exact instructions since I just switched to PS from PSP in June and I am still learning. :)
