View Full Version : My BABY is in a TODDLER BED

SIGH.

The bed came today. DH put it together and put the crib mattress on it. He just rocked her to sleep and layed her down w/o a problem (unusual) on the bed. I followed him in and snapped a quick picture. Her first night in her big girl bed.....I pouted.

We will see how she does....

Awwww!!!! So sweet! I know, it's hard on Mommy, but such a liberating moment for her, I'm sure :) Now, good luck getting her to stay in it!!! LOL

Awww she looks so tiny in that "big" bed! Congrats to her, she will do wonderful.

Awwwww . . . .she's so little!!! What fun for her! Was she excited, too tired to care?

Alannah got a twin bed at 18 months and she was a stinker to say the least. She got out of bed a dozen times every night and cried and cried. She still cries at bedtime and she's FIVE!

well she was asleep when she got in it, and slept all night. I heard her rustleing around this morning abotu 8:20 and as I was walking out of the office, she met me half way in the hall....she got up all by herself! Big Girl! SHe seemed proud.

Can't wait to see the layout!!! And good luck in keeping her in bed most nights, especially once Zoe is born if they are sharing a room!

One of those bittersweet milestones- but you are so smart to do it now before the baby arrives so she has time to adjust to her new "big girl bed"! Hope she is thrilled!

Ack! It must have back-fired on us! That is the time Madeline wakes up normally, so she must have influenced Selah! Sorry! ;)
