What are the rules for crediting designers/sites in gallery posts

I've looked around and couldn't find it but I was wondering what the rules are for posting layouts with items from other designers and or sites. Can you direct me to the terms please?

always credit the designer and kit, please don't link to the website.

Hi there, we are an open gallery, so post any layouts with any product you wish. Just be sure to credit the designer and their product properly. If you want to also include the name of their store that would be fine, but I'd refrain from a hot link (I only say this because I'm not sure myself about that part.) I'm sure Debb will tell us or point us to the right place for the rules on live links.

I Pmed Debbi when I first came to this site. She told if you are using product from other sites please just list the name of the kit/product and the designer but do not link to that site or mention the name of the site.
