Well, I have been cruising the gallery and noticed a few comments on Donna's pocket calendar inserts where people were not clear on its use. So, MY BAD!! I should have included a directions for use file. :( So here goes...
First open the template, use it just like any other template. You will have to resize your papers and elements to fit the small canvas size. Then just prepare your "layout" and PLEASE please print a "test" copy first before printing your color final. You just want to make sure nothing is going to get "cut off" or anything like that.
Now, you're going to need to go buy one of those $1 cheap pocket calendars they sell at Michael's and places like that. Its looks kinda like a checkbook (and maybe you could even use the cover for your checkbook eh????) size calendar. Pull out the cover that comes with it, print your new masterpiece, trim it down, and place it inside your plastic cover. Then put your calendar back inside.
What amazingly simple, creative, fun, unique gifts, don't you think? For all those teachers, neighbors, friend's mothers, hairdresser (please make sure you're treating her good, cause she can really mess you up if you don't) etc. etc...the list is endless (mail man, milk man, trash man, ROFL).
That's it chickies :) Again, so sorry I didn't make it clear with a description. But, thanks to Donna and her marvelous examples, I think people are "seeing the light." HEHE!!
HUGS everyone!! I hope to see some more examples of a finished product!!
