Spotted this over on digishoptalk forum but for the life of me cant figure how to post there only reply.

Ok I'm curious did anyone of you do the first race last summer ?

Is so how did you like doing it ?

Promise last question I'm thinking of doing it since its not bring judged. You all see my lovely newbie layouts. Need alot of help but wont be judge so I'm feeling brave. The catch is I need a partner now.

Before I post for a partner wanted to see if anyone here would be interested in doing this with me.

Jen - that sounds like fun. Unfortunately, I'm going to be gone for 2 weeks right smack in the middle and it wouldn't be fair to anyone I teamed up with. Good luck if you do try!!!

Well, it sounds interesting, but I know enough NOT to commit to anything for the next three months or so. But is the jist of it that you are given a site to go to, read the challenge they have posted and use their items for a layout. And do this every week for four weeks (or so?)

Are you asking if the Guild can sponsor a leg of the race? I'm sure...you'd just have to talk to Theresa about it. You could probably contact her through the e-mail in the link Jen gave, or at NDISB.

I did it last time and it was fun. To me it was a lot of work, but I have a lot on my plate so its all a matter of how much time you have. I also didn't like a few of the challenges they had us do, like ATCs. I don't do those, am not into that, and it was a waste of my scrapping time. But I did it, and got my prize :) HEHE! The race was fun, anything competative and I'm all over it. Just find a reliable partner is all I can say. I partnered with the wonderful and lovely Dawn Grogan who has since gone missing on me :(

ATC = Artist Trading Card. Its not a bad thing...its just not everyone's thing. :) I've never made one myself.

I read through the rules...and I think it says that you can use ANY products that you have and that you'll never be required to register at any site or purchase anything. Sounds like fun!
